"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lam. 3:22-23

Ministry Updates

Tim had the opportunity to speak at a ministry leaders conference about nine hours from our home. On the drive there, we experienced a tire blowout in the middle of nowhere, which led to an unexpected adventure far from home. Despite the delay, we arrived on time and thoroughly enjoyed three days of investing in hundreds of ministry leaders, pastors, and seminary students.

Since completing his doctoral studies in church planting, Tim has been blessed with numerous opportunities to use the resources he developed to train hundreds of national partners in church planting ministry.

After the nearly three years of waiting for permits, construction on the church building is progressing well. This has brought renewed excitement and encouragement despite the challenges of our current meeting space. Other ministry highlights include several new families attending the church, a church-wide yard sale to raise funds for bricks, a large group completing our discipleship and evangelism training during the Sunday School hour, and an expanded partnership with the local orphanage. Families in our church are now serving as host families each Sunday for kids from the orphanage, welcoming the children into their homes and lives as well.

The newest church plant continues to be a major focus for us. We are working closely with four families while investing more intentionally in one family that is preparing for future pastoral ministry. In April, we identified a property that could become a permanent home for this new church. We are excited about the possibility of purchasing the building and renovating portions of it to serve as a beacon of hope and light in this needy community, but we need your help! Please follow the link below for more information on how you can pray and participate in this ministry.

Family News

In May, we came back to the USA for Tim's doctoral commencement ceremony at Liberty University. After years of hard work, and by God's grace alone, Tim formally graduated with highest honors. We give all glory to Him for this accomplishment.

We have also greatly enjoyed spending time with three of our children during these weeks in the United States.

However, this season has also brought significant unplanned challenges.

Andrea's father, Gordon Wyant, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 terminal brain cancer. Even in the midst of this difficulty, we see God's gracious hand at work. The weeks we had already planned to spend in the United States for other ministry and family events have allowed us to help with doctor's appointments, surgery, and radiation treatments. We have also been able to assist Andrea's parents with practical needs, including car repairs, banking matters, and the logistics of moving their household to Florida.

We would greatly appreciate your prayers as our family enters a new season of aging parents, adult children/grandchildren, and full-time ministry in Brazil.

We will return to Brazil in July and are eager for the next steps God has for us in both church plants, training Brazilians, and helping at the orphanage.

Thank you for your faithful love, prayers, and partnership.
