Happy 2022! We are starting this new year praying for and expecting great things from God. Admittedly, we are eager to put 2021 behind us; however, we know that the opportunities we were given for growth and the divine comfort and provision experienced have been like no other. For that we are grateful.

New Beginning
Despite all its challenges, last year ended with many highlights for our ministry. The first baptism for this church plant was on a beautiful day in November, and 13 people (young and old) publicly professed their faith through baptism. A few weeks later, our seminary intern was ordained and voted as the first national pastor (associate). There was standing room only at his ordination service that Sunday.
Leadership Team
To invest in our leadership team, we hosted a year end thank-you dinner for the couples. The evening was filled with laughter and gratefulness for God’s faithfulness in 2021. We praise God that this young church is experiencing a wonderful period of excitement and growth and unity.

New Ministries
Starting this new year, the church now has a Sunday School program before evening service, new men’s ministry, new couples’ ministry, and women’s ministry as well. In addition, a doctrine class will be offered once a month to ground people deeper into the 10 basic doctrines, and during January, Tim is teaching another membership class that has 10 people. Tim is also teaching his seminary class this semester starting in February.
Prayer Requests
We need and cherish your prayers for all these new endeavors. May they all be for God’s glory and the building of His kingdom. Also, please pray for the salvation of several families that are attending our church that are not believers but are very engaged and interested ; and lastly, please pray for Tim’s continued recovery as he still daily struggles with issues related to post critical COVID complications.
You are a blessing!
We praise God for you. Thank you for praying, encouraging, loving, and supporting our family. It is our immense privilege to serve our great God here in Brazil.
