God is Moving

Updated: Dec 11, 2021

We have had some exciting weeks of ministry and are eager to share! It has been a tremendous encouragement and joy to see spiritual fruit coming forth from several branches of our church planting ministry! Since our last update, three people have professed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. After attending our Sunday service for several consecutive Sundays, one man started asking questions, and our deacons opened the Scriptures and prayed with him on the sidewalk in front of our church. The next week, during a big children’s event, a 10-year-old boy walked forward to pray and give his life to Christ. And, just last Thursday, a pre-teen girl at the orphanage prayed to surrender her life to Christ during our weekly Bible club. Praise the Lord with us.

New Life

In November, we will have our first baptism, and 13 people of all ages are signed up to be baptized. Several are new believers. Yet another reason to celebrate, three different church members are currently doing an evangelistic Bible study with neighbors/family. One has a group of 10-15 hearing the Word bi-weekly. Another family is hosting a weekly Bible club for children in their poor neighborhood. It is such a joy to see the church growing in numbers and maturity and people enthusiastically sharing their faith!

Tim finished teaching his seminary class for this semester and has been working with our intern in preparation for his ordination. Still healing from the side effects of COVID, he continues to progress ever so slowly. Recently, we have been encouraged with several medications that have provided some pain relief. We cherish your prayers for continued healing.

Robert's New Journey

Lastly, but most certainly not least, it is with grateful hearts that we ask for prayer for our son, Robert, who is this week finishing new missionary orientation at ABWE. Immediately after his orientation, he will be traveling to Colombia to spend 3-4 weeks with his future team. During November, he will stay and serve at the seminary in Bogotá where he, Lord willing, after raising support will partner to train Colombian leaders.

Thank You!

Thank you for your faithful prayers and encouragement. We are extremely grateful for the team of partners that God has raised up to make this ministry possible.
